Baseball Recap: Gann Academy Victorious

Gann Academy posted their closest victory since April 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Boston Trinity Academy Lions 12-10. This was payback for the Red Heifers, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ilan Newman was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with seven stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Adam Farb was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

The victory got Gann Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Boston Trinity Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Gann Academy and Boston Trinity Academy will both be playing Brimmer & May the next time they take the field. The Red Heifers will host the Gators at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Lions will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
