Basketball Recap: Fort Bend Clements Rangers vs. Fort Bend Bush Broncos
The Fort Bend Clements Rangers put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Fort Bend Bush for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-36 win at home. With Fort Bend Clements ahead 37-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Bend Clements to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nedum Chiadika, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chiadika has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Clark, who scored 16 points along with five blocks.
Fort Bend Clements pushed their record up to 26-0 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Fort Bend Bush, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-16.
Fort Bend Clements will head out on the road to square off against the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Bend Hightower will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Rangers are ranked sixth). As for Fort Bend Bush, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Bend Austin is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
