Basketball Recap: Northwood Takes a Loss

Northwood is still winless after their contest against Cardinal Stritch on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cardinal Stritch, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwood and Woodmore will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cardinal Stritch will take on Maumee Valley Country Day in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st.
