Basketball Game Preview: Helena Huskies vs. Pelham Panthers

Helena and Pelham are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Helena Huskies will be playing at home against the Pelham Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, Helena came up short against Spain Park and fell 54-43. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Pelham lost to Chelsea on the road by a 45-30 margin on Tuesday.

Helena's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Pelham, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12.

Helena was able to grind out a solid victory over Pelham when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 48-40. Does Helena have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pelham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
