After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northville, Howell was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Marysville Vikings 2-1. This was payback for the Highlanders, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

With the win, Howell broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-10. As for Marysville, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-12-1.

Coincidentally, Howell and Marysville will both be playing Grosse Pointe North the next time they take the court. The Highlanders will head out to face the Norsemen at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
