Soccer Recap: Richmond Sets Scoring Season-High Against Spruce Mountain

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richmond). They put the hurt on the Spruce Mountain Phoenix with a sharp 4-1 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Richmond needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Richmond pushed their record up to 5-7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Spruce Mountain, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12-1.

Coming up, Richmond will host Monmouth Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Spruce Mountain, they will head out on the road to square off against Maranacook at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
