Basehor-Linwood is 8-1-1 against Turner since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bobcats will host the Golden Bears. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Basehor-Linwood has three straight victories, Turner has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Basehor-Linwood's win against Piper wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Pirates 7-6.

Meanwhile, Turner didn't have quite enough to beat St. James Academy on Friday and fell 2-1.

Turner's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Basehor-Linwood, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything went Basehor-Linwood's way against Turner in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Basehor-Linwood made off with a 7-0 victory. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Golden Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
