Paynesville barely beat Eden Valley-Watkins the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Eagles on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Paynesville's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-8. As for Eden Valley-Watkins, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1.

Paynesville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-1 victory against Maple Lake on the 14th. Eden Valley-Watkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
