Soccer Recap: Gateway Charter Takes a Loss

Gateway Charter managed to keep up with South Fort Myers until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Gateway Charter Griffins lost 4-0 to the South Fort Myers Wolfpack. The Griffins just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Gateway Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for South Fort Myers, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gateway Charter will face off against East Lee County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. East Lee County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season. As for South Fort Myers, they will square off against Golden Gate at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
