Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Leesville walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 48-20 win over the Bunkie Panthers. The Wampus Cats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 22 points or more this season.

Shyann McCummings continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Leesville's points. Another player making a difference was Malaya Williams, who posted nine points.

Leesville is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points over those games. Bunkie's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.

Looking ahead, Leesville will head out to square off against Booker T. Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Bunkie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
