Basketball Recap: Roy/Mosquero Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Roy/Mosquero, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They rang in the new year with a 47-37 win over the Grady Bronchos on Friday. This was payback for the Blue/Lady Blue, who suffered a 62-41 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the defeat, Grady saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zander Ciancio posted ten points.

The victory got Roy/Mosquero back to even at 5-5. As for Grady, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-5.

Roy/Mosquero will square off against New Mexico School for the Deaf at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grady, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-2 win against San Jon on the 4th.
