Ethan Shaefer turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. He produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). He has become a key player for North Thurston: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Shaefer and North Thurston will face off against Port Angeles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
