Spring Lake won the last time they faced Holland and things went their way on Monday too. The Lakers were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Dutch. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lakers.

Khloe Melinn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Melinn was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Tessa Britt was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Cheyenne Lyons was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
