Soccer Recap: Cedar Creek Takes a Loss

Cedar Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the East View Patriots. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one goal.

Cedar Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-2. As for East View, they now have a winning record of 3-2-2.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Cedar Creek duke it out with the Hendrickson at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Creek's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for East View, they will square off against Bastrop at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. East View's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
