Durango has no trouble against Tikigaq

The Durango Trailblazers entered their tilt with the Tikigaq Harpooners with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Durango put the hurt on Tikigaq with a sharp 58-38 victory on Thursday. This was payback for Durango, who suffered a 65-51 defeat the last time these two teams met.

It was another big night for Amarie Riley, who scored 17 points. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for her. Rayneria Lockett was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Durango's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Tikigaq, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Durango will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Canyon Springs at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Canyon Springs is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. Tikigaq does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
