Football Recap: Dublin Comes Up Short

After soaring to 41 points the game before, Dublin was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They took a 15-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Ramon Valley Wolves. The defeat continues a trend for the Gaels in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost five in a row.

Taylor Sullivan threw for 86 yards while completing 87.5% of her passes. Rayn Hazen was her top target, picking up 102 receiving yards.

San Ramon Valley found their leader in sophomore Gia Ryan, who threw for 124 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 60 yards on only seven carries.

Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for San Ramon Valley, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Dublin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against Dougherty Valley on the 2nd. As for San Ramon Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-15 win against Foothill on the 2nd.
