Volleyball Recap: Nevin Waddell and Grace Fykes Secure Win for St. Edward's + How To Watch

St. Edward had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Central Cobras by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

St. Edward's had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-20, 27-25, 25-20.

Leading St. Edward's to victory were Grace Fykes and Nevin Waddell. Fykes had 21 digs, while Waddell had 17 digs, 13 kills, and four aces. Those 17 digs gave Waddell a new career-high.

St. Edward's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
