Basketball Recap: Cypress Ranch Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

There's no place like home for Cypress Ranch, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They managed a 59-55 win over the Cypress Woods Wildcats on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-58 back in December of 2024.

Cypress Ranch is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 19-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Cypress Woods, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Ranch will take on Bridgeland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cypress Woods, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cypress Woods Wildcats take on the Cypress Park Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
