Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Guilford Falcons vs. Ragsdale Tigers

Southeast Guilford is 2-8 against Ragsdale since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. Both will face off at 12:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Southeast Guilford's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.

On Friday, Southeast Guilford ended up a good deal behind Page and lost 77-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (56), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Ragsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Grimsley 77-49. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 599th, while the Whirlies are ranked 171st).

Southeast Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Ragsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Things could have been worse for Southeast Guilford, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-50 loss to Ragsdale in their previous meeting back in February. Can Southeast Guilford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
