It was a good run, but Leander unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Vandegrift Vipers by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vipers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Monday.

Leander's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Vandegrift, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Leander will head out on the road to take on Cedar Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vandegrift, they will face off against Round Rock Westwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Vipers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
