Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bowdon). They enjoyed a cozy 28-12 win over the Greenville Patriots on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won three contests in a row.

Bowdon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Meg Robinson and Adalyn Chambers.

Bowdon's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Greenville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Bowdon will host South Paulding at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Greenville, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 60-0 loss against Heard County on the 4th.
