Baseball Recap: Walhalla Takes a Loss

Walhalla fell victim to Belton-Honea Path and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The Razorbacks haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Walhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Belton-Honea Path, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walhalla will challenge Christ Church Episcopal at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will take on Dixie at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bears are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
