Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Regis Groff Fusion.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-23.

Luke Vigil paced Chaparral's offense, picking up 15 kills. Vigil got some help from Jett Fobert and his 31 assists. Joe Ponder controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Regis Groff, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Chaparral didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against DSST: College View on the 15th. As for Regis Groff, they will face off against Colorado Springs Christian at 8:00 a.m. on March 22nd.
