There's no place like home for San Pasqual Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Bagdad Sultans 3-0 on Monday. The Warriors not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 21, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Pasqual Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khloe Nunn, who hit 87.5% for seven kills and 13 aces and 12 assists. Those seven kills gave Nunn a new career-high.

Nunn wasn't the only good servers: San Pasqual Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

San Pasqual Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Bagdad, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

After both having extra time off, San Pasqual Valley and Somerton will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bagdad, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against North Phoenix Preparatory Academy on the 17th.
