Basketball Game Preview: North Mac Panthers vs. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays + How To Watch

North Mac is 1-8 against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Bluejays at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

North Mac not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 18th (when they won 58-28). Everything went their way against Lincolnwood as they made off with a 61-36 victory. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Lancers on their court since November 22, 2022.

Meanwhile, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Lincolnwood 66-26.

North Mac lost to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central on the road by a decisive 50-31 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
