Volleyball Game Preview: MAST Academy Makos vs. Carol City Chiefs

For the first time this season, MAST Academy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Thursday. They will venture away from home to square off against the Carol City Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for MAST Academy and seven for Carol City dating back to last season.

MAST Academy lost 3-0 to Homestead on Wednesday.

MAST Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Carol City came up short against Northwestern on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-11.

Carol City's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for MAST Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
