Softball Recap: Edward Little Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Edward Little won against Messalonskee on Friday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Red Eddies came out on top against the Lewiston Blue Devils by a score of 6-3. The victory was just business as usual for the Red Eddies, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Kassidy Lobb made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Lobb was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Kylee Lebrun was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Edward Little pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Lewiston, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Edward Little will challenge Greely at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lewiston, they will square off against Hampden at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
