La Serna won the last time they faced Warren and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers breezed past the Bears to the tune of 42-7. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

La Serna's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grady Long, who threw for 228 yards and four touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Long has posted since back in October of 2024. Daniel Moreno helped Long out on the ground, picking up 31 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 37 yards and one score.

La Serna pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points over those games. As for Warren, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
