Soccer Game Preview: Rossview vs. Clarksville

Rossview is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will host the Clarksville Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Rossview has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Clarksville will arrive with three straight victories.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Hawks on Thursday. Rossview fell just short of Merrol Hyde Magnet by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Clarksville kept a clean sheet against Montgomery Central on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 9-0 win. Clarksville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

Rossview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Clarksville, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Rossview came out on top in a nail-biter against Clarksville in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
