Recap: North Forrest Eagles vs. Richton Rebels
The North Forrest Eagles lost against the Richton Rebels two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. North Forrest took a 33-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Richton. North Forrest has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Richton to victory were Nylah Robins and Ta'Nya Bradley. Robins dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Bradley dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Bradley hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.
North Forrest has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. As for Richton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Forrest will take on Collins at 11:47 a.m. on Tuesday. Collins is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Richton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mize at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Mize is ranked 215th, while Richton is ranked 231st).
