 In what's become a running theme this season, East Moline United gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Galesburg Silver Streaks with a sharp  17-1 win. East Moline United's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Emily Stevens and  Samantha Verstraete made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Stevens   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Verstraete   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit. Stevens has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Stevens  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Verstraete  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Kaylie Pe?a was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, a  triple,  and a  double.  Kendall Crawford was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 On Galesburg's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sahara Cato, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.
 East Moline United's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 10-6. As for Galesburg,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-16.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Moline United will take on Geneseo at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Galesburg, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Alleman at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Alleman is coming into the  game with seven straight  losses on the road,  meaning Galesburg will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
