Baseball Game Preview: Nemaha Central Thunder vs. Rossville Bulldogs

The Nemaha Central Thunder will face off against the Rossville Bulldogs on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Nemaha Central beat St. Marys 8-3.

Meanwhile, Rossville waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Wildcats. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Rossville pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Nemaha Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Nemaha Central took their victory against Rossville in their previous meeting back in May of 2021 by a conclusive 8-2 score. Will the Thunder repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
