Baseball Game Preview: St. Raphael Academy Saints vs. Burrillville Broncos

The St. Raphael Academy Saints will head out on the road to face off against the Burrillville Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

St. Raphael Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: North Providence, who was ranked 13th at the time (St. Raphael Academy was ranked 16th). The Saints fell 8-3 to the Cougars on Monday.

Meanwhile, Burrillville hadn't done well against Middletown recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Broncos came out on top against the Islanders by a score of 5-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Burrillville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Furtado, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

St. Raphael Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Burrillville, their win bumped their record up to an identical 11-6.
