Volleyball Recap: Bellingham Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

Bellingham entered their tilt with Doherty Memorial on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Highlanders by a score of 3-1.

While Bellingham might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Doherty Memorial scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Wagner Lourenco paced Bellingham's offense, picking up ten kills. Lourenco got some help from Aidan Gibbs and his 30 assists. Gibbs also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jack Davidson, racking up two apiece.

Bellingham pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Doherty Memorial, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
