Red River is a perfect 3-0 against Lakeside since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Red River has given up an average of 26 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Red River came up short against Mansfield and fell 38-30. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Red River's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Malique Smith, who rushed for 81 yards and a pair of TDs, and Cedric Moody, who rushed for 55 yards and two scores.

Meanwhile, Lakeside played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Many 54-13. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-7.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Red River, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Red River took their win against Lakeside when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 30-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
