Volleyball Recap: Omro Comes Up Short

Omro extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 6-16. They came up short against the Campbellsport Cougars, falling 3-0. The Foxes were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Payton Reiter paced Omro's offense, picking up five kills. Reiter were helped by Mackenzie Kettlewell and Reagan Reiter, who contributed five assists each. Kettlewell also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Madeline Chase, each putting up two.

As for Campbellsport, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 14-10. The matchup marked their most dominant win of the season.

Muraski Emma went supernova, getting nine digs, five kills, and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matches. Smith Ava was another key player, getting five aces and one assist.

Omro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Little Chute on the 27th. As for Campbellsport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against University School of Milwaukee on the 27th.
