Basketball Recap: Fox Valley Lutheran Piles Up the Points Against Green Bay East

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fox Valley Lutheran). They breezed past the Green Bay East Red Devils to the tune of 85-43 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Foxes with their most commanding win of the season.

Eligh Erickson produced another solid performance shooting 50% from the field to rack up 23 points along with three steals and three blocks. He has also also been stellar as far as three-point shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Gabe Heiges was another key player, going 5-for-10 en route to 14 points.

Fox Valley Lutheran smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The win was the third in a row for Fox Valley Lutheran, bringing their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points over those games. As for Green Bay East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Fox Valley Lutheran will welcome New London at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Foxes will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Green Bay East, they are taking a road trip to take on Shawano Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
