Softball Game Preview: Thomasville Bulldogs vs. Ragsdale Tigers

The Thomasville Bulldogs will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Ragsdale Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Thomasville is coming into the matchup on a 22-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Thomasville came up short against North Hills Christian on Friday, falling 12-6.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Ragsdale was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 17-1 to Southeast Guilford. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Ragsdale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Gray, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Gray is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Ragsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Thomasville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
