Recap: Fredericktown Freddies vs. Centerburg Trojans

The Fredericktown Freddies fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They strolled past Centerburg with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 32-14. For Fredericktown, this counts as revenge for the 49-14 loss Centerburg walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

Blake Sipes was a one-man wrecking crew for Fredericktown as he rushed for 242 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Trevor Bellman also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Fredericktown is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Centerburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Fredericktown will head out on the road to face off against Archbold at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Archbold's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six contests. Centerburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
