Basketball Recap: Concord Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to 23

Concord Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 83-24 victory over the Hickory Grove Christian Lions. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Concord Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Benham, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Benham's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Lincoln Raper was another key player, going 9 for 15 en route to 21 points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Concord Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hickory Grove Christian only racked up two assists.
