Softball Recap: McFarland Takes a Loss

McFarland fell victim to Portage and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Warriors. The game marked the first time this year in which the Spartans were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for McFarland and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Portage, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McFarland will challenge DeForest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Portage, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Sauk Prairie at 5:00 p.m.
