It was a good run, but Scotus unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boys Town Cowboys. The Shamrocks lost against the Cowboys in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 74-35 score last time.

Scotus' loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4. As for Boys Town, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scotus will challenge Bishop Neumann at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. Boys Town has already played their next contest (against Archbishop Bergan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
