Recap: Oakley Plainsmen vs. Hill City Ringnecks
The Oakley Plainsmen posted their biggest victory yet this season on Saturday. They really took it to Hill City for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-15 victory on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-5.
Oakley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Karli Krier, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that Krier pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jade Beckman, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
The win got Oakley back to even at 5-5. As for Hill City, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Smith Center the next time they take the court. Oakley will head out to face Smith Center on Monday, while Hill City will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
