Central had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Anniston Bulldogs by a score of 67-60. Given the Red Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Bulldogs are ranked 69th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. As for Anniston, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5.
