Soccer Recap: Grosse Ile Comes Up Short

Grosse Ile came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to the Airport Jets.

Grosse Ile has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5-3 record this season. As for Airport, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Grosse Ile and Airport will both be playing Crestwood the next time they take the pitch. The Devils will host the Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Jets will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
