Basketball Game Preview: Perry Ramblers vs. Dansville Aggies

The Perry Ramblers will head out to challenge the Dansville Aggies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Perry will be strutting in after a win while Dansville will be coming in after a defeat.

Perry will head into Friday's match on the come-up: they were handed a 30-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Saranac 36-34. The win was some much needed relief for the Ramblers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Dansville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Potterville and fell 56-24.

Dansville's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Perry, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Perry didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Dansville in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 49-43 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Perry since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
