Soccer Game Preview: Houston Math Science & Tech vs. Lamar

Houston Math Science & Tech hasn't had much luck against Lamar recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Given the Texans' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Cardinals are ranked 207th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lamar's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 57 goals over those nine contests. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
