Baseball Recap: Box Elder Takes a Loss

Box Elder suffered their closest defeat since March 8th on Friday. They fell just short of the Bountiful RedHawks by a score of 5-3. The Bees' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Bosten Steacie was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Kellen Kohler, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Box Elder's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Bountiful, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-8.

While Box Elder had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
