While Oasis Academy put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Silver Stage. Oasis Academy put the hurt on Silver Stage with a sharp 14-0 victory. Considering the Bighorns have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryder McNabb made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zachary Budner, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Joshua Gusewelle was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Oasis Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .344 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Oasis Academy pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Silver Stage, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oasis Academy will welcome Yerington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Yerington will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Oasis Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Silver Stage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sierra Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra Lutheran has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.54 runs per game on average), something Silver Stage will no doubt try to take advantage of.
