Homestead was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Jermaine Green Jr. did his best to prevent it. Green Jr. was unstoppable, rushing for 78 yards on only six carries, while also catching one TD.

Looking ahead, Green Jr. and Homestead will look to defend their home field on Friday against Doral Academy at 7:30 p.m. The Firebirds will enter the matchup having just beaten Dr. Krop, so the Broncos will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
